Job Scope & Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

1. Drafting & Design Support

• Prepare and revise detailed AutoCAD drawings, layout plans, and technical schematics based on project requirements.
• Ensure all drawings comply with engineering standards, project specifications, and client guidelines.
• Coordinate with project engineers, designers, and site teams to update as-built drawings and ensure version accuracy.
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure timely submission to clients or consultants.

2. Document Control

• Establish and maintain an organized document control system for project documents, drawings, reports, and correspondence.
• Assign, record, and track document numbers, revisions, and distribution according to project protocols.
• Manage document transmittals, submittals, and approval workflows between internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
• Ensure all documents are properly archived, backed up, and retrievable when required.
• Maintain confidentiality and control access to sensitive project documentation.

3. Coordination & Support

• Liaise with clients, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely document submissions and revisions.
• Provide administrative and technical support to project teams as required.
• Assist in project close-out documentation and final as-built compilation.

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in project drafting and/or document control, preferably in construction, engineering, or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and document management systems (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint, or equivalent).
• Good understanding of drawing numbering systems, revision control, and document workflows.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Electrical background is an added advantage.
