Senior IBM iSeries / AS400 RPG Developer (Credit/Debit Card Domain)

Location: kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior IBM iSeries / AS400 RPG Developer with strong expertise in IBM iSeries, RPG/400, CL, and IBM AS400. The ideal candidate will have hands-on application development experience and a strong background in the Credit/Debit Card domain. The role involves designing, developing, testing, debugging, and supporting business-critical applications in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications on IBM iSeries / AS400 platforms.
• Perform coding, debugging, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
• Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions aligned with project objectives.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and testing teams.
• Ensure application stability, performance, and compliance with development standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to DevOps-driven delivery practices.
• Support integration activities and system enhancements across multiple applications.
• Manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within agreed timelines.

Required Experience

• 8+ years of experience in IBM iSeries, RPG/400, CL, and AS400 Development.
• Strong experience in application development, maintenance, and support.
• Hands-on experience in Credit Card or Debit Card processing systems.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
