Job Description

Responsibilities

Mandatory Technical Skills
  • Oracle Database – Administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, backup & recovery.
  • Oracle Patching – Basic understanding and hands-on exposure to database patching activities.
  • Oracle Security – User/access management, privilege management, security controls, and database hardening.
  • Oracle Performance – Basic monitoring of database performance, tablespaces, data files, and resource utilization.
  • Oracle HA – Basic understanding of High Availability and disaster recovery concepts.
  • SQL – Good understanding of SQL and ability to troubleshoot basic queries.
  • Linux/Unix – Basic operating system administration and troubleshooting skills.
Added Advantage
  • Exposure to Oracle Exadata environments.
  • Exposure to Oracle RAC, Data Guard, or other Oracle HA/DR technologies.
  • Exposure to MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  • Experience in a banking or other regulated enterprise environment.
  • Familiarity with BNM, ISO/IEC 20000, ITIL, or other IT governance/security standards.
