Role Description This is a full-time Human Resources Specialist role based in WP Kuala Lumpur, structured as a hybrid position with a mix of on-site and work-from-home arrangements. The Human Resources Specialist will handle day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records, administering benefits, and supporting recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes. The role includes assisting in the implementation and communication of HR policies, supporting performance management activities, and responding to employee inquiries in a timely and professional manner. The specialist will collaborate with managers to address personnel matters, support employee engagement initiatives, and help ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and company standards. The position may also involve preparing HR reports, supporting HR-related projects, and contributing to process improvements across the HR function.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundational skills in Human Resources (HR), including understanding core HR functions and practices.
  • Experience in HR Management and Personnel Management to support day-to-day operations and workforce planning.
  • Knowledge of HR Policies and Employee Benefits, with the ability to administer and clearly communicate these to employees.
  • Familiarity with Malaysian labor laws and regulations, particularly those relevant to WP Kuala Lumpur.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency with HR information systems and standard office software (e.g., HRIS, MS Office or similar tools).
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information responsibly and maintain high ethical standards.
  • Relevant academic background, such as a diploma or degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a similar HR role in the consumer goods or related industry is an advantage.
