We are looking for an experienced WAN Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support enterprise-wide WAN infrastructure within a highly secure and regulated banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise WAN solutions across multiple banking locations.
• Manage MPLS, Internet, SD-WAN, and hybrid WAN connectivity.
• Monitor WAN performance, availability, utilisation, and capacity.
• Configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and static routing.
• Support LAN/WAN integration and inter-site connectivity.
• Deploy and administer SD-WAN platforms such as Cisco Viptela, VMware VeloCloud, Fortinet Secure SD-WAN, or Versa.
• Support connectivity across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud environments.
• Implement secure connectivity using IPSec VPN, SSL VPN, ZTNA, and network segmentation.
• Provide L2/L3 support for critical WAN infrastructure.
• Conduct root cause analysis and participate in major incident and problem management.
• Manage WAN circuits, telecom providers, and network vendors.
• Support disaster recovery exercises, failover testing, and network resiliency.
• Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and operational procedures.

Banking Experience

Banking or financial services experience is highly preferred, particularly exposure to:

• Core Banking Platforms
• SWIFT Connectivity
• Payment Gateways
• ATM Networks
• Online Banking Platforms
• High-Availability Infrastructure
• PCI-DSS Compliance
• Risk & Regulatory Compliance
• Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery

Experience Required

• Minimum 6 years of Network Engineering experience
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on WAN support and administration
• Experience managing multi-site enterprise networks
• Experience supporting mission-critical environments
• Strong troubleshooting and major incident management experience
• Experience with change management and production support
