Temporary Retail Assistant – Store Setup

Work Location: Orchard Road, Singapore

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and preparation of a new retail store before opening.
• Unpack, sort and arrange merchandise in the store.
• Assist with stock receiving, checking and inventory counting.
• Arrange products, shelves, displays and other merchandise according to store requirements.
• Attach price tags, labels and promotional materials where required.
• Assist with general store organisation and ensure the sales floor and stockroom are neat and tidy.
• Support the retail team with other store-opening preparation activities.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Store Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements

• Able to start work on 12–13 October 2026.
• Comfortable with physical tasks such as unpacking, arranging merchandise and moving stock.
• Responsible, punctual and able to follow instructions.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Retail or store setup experience is an advantage but not compulsory.

What You’ll Be Doing

This role will mainly support the team in setting up the new retail store at Orchard Road, including preparing merchandise, organising stock and getting the store ready for opening.

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 12.0 per week
