JOB SCOPE

• Attend to customers professionally and provide friendly, attentive service at the JOYCE COUTURE counter.

• Understand customers’ preferences, sizing and needs, and recommend suitable outfits, styles and products.

• Actively promote JOYCE COUTURE products and work towards achieving monthly sales targets.

• Provide customers with accurate information on product details, sizing, fabrics, pricing, promotions and new arrivals.

• Encourage additional purchases through suitable product recommendations, matching pieces and styling suggestions.

• Build good relationships with customers and provide consistent after-sales service to encourage repeat purchases.

• Maintain the JOYCE COUTURE counter according to the company’s visual merchandising and presentation standards.

• Ensure clothing is properly displayed, folded, hung, steamed and arranged neatly throughout the day.

• Regularly replenish merchandise and ensure sufficient stock and sizes are available on the sales floor.

• Monitor stock movement and promptly inform the company of fast-selling, low-stock or out-of-stock items.

• Assist with stock receiving, stock transfers, stock counts and inventory checking.

• Maintain accurate daily sales and stock records as required by the company.

• Submit daily or weekly sales updates, customer feedback and relevant counter information to the person in charge.

• Ensure all promotional materials, signage, price tags and displays are accurate and properly presented.

• Keep the counter, fitting area, display fixtures and merchandise clean, organised and presentable at all times.

• Stay updated on new collections, promotions, product knowledge and current marketing campaigns.

• Coordinate professionally with department store staff and follow the department store’s operating procedures, opening hours and regulations.

• Participate in department store promotions, member events, festive campaigns and sales activities when required.

• Represent JOYCE COUTURE professionally through appropriate grooming, communication and customer service.

• Be responsible for the overall daily condition, sales performance and presentation of the assigned JOYCE COUTURE counter.

• Carry out other retail-related duties assigned by the supervisor or management when required.

WORKING EXPECTATIONS

• Able to work according to department store retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.

• Responsible, punctual and able to manage the assigned counter independently.

• Comfortable approaching customers and actively selling.

• Sales-driven while maintaining good customer service.

• Able to communicate well with customers and the company’s retail team.

• Able to follow company SOPs, department store regulations and reporting requirements.

Additional Daily Counter Responsibilities

• Provide daily photo and/or video updates of the JOYCE COUTURE counter before opening and after closing to the internal management team.

• Ensure the counter is clean, tidy, properly arranged and presentation-ready before opening each day.

• Maintain consistent cleanliness, organisation and visual presentation of the counter throughout operating hours.

• Complete a proper end-of-day counter check and provide photo/video confirmation after closing to ensure merchandise, displays and the overall counter are properly arranged and secured before leaving.

• Conduct a daily stock count before opening and after closing.

• Submit the opening and closing stock count report to JOYCE COUTURE internal management every day.

• Promptly report any stock discrepancies, missing items, damaged merchandise or unusual stock movements to management.

• Ensure stock records are accurate and that any sales, transfers, returns or other stock movements are properly accounted for before submitting the daily stock report.
