Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Sales Engineer role based in Subang Jaya. The Technical Sales Engineer will engage with existing and prospective customers to understand their automation and machine vision requirements, propose suitable OPT solutions, and deliver product demonstrations. The role involves market development, sales execution, customer acquisition and relationship maintenance, etc. The Technical Sales Engineer will also track opportunities in the sales pipeline, contribute to market feedback and product improvement, and support local marketing or customer events as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability in Technical Sales and Sales, with a focus on industrial or automation-related products.
• Experience in Sales Engineering and Technical Support, including solution-based selling and customer issue resolution.
• Strong Communication skills for presenting complex technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Background in engineering, automation, electronics, computer science, or a related technical field (degree or equivalent practical experience preferred).
• Understanding of machine vision, industrial cameras, sensors, or factory automation systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple customer projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel locally for customer visits, site evaluations, and on-site support when required.
