About the role

We are looking for a driven and commercially focused Business Development Manager to expand our business portfolio and secure new contracts within the Facility Management and Cleaning Services industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, participating in tenders and converting opportunities into sustainable business contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Facility Management, Cleaning Services and related outsourced services sectors.
• Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve company revenue and growth targets.
• Generate new leads and actively approach prospective corporate and commercial clients.
• Build strong relationships with property managers, building management, developers, corporate clients, government agencies and other potential clients.
• Identify upcoming tenders, RFQs and business opportunities through relevant channels.
• Manage the complete tender process including site visits, costing coordination, proposal preparation, submission and follow-up.
• Work closely with Operations, Finance and Management to prepare commercially competitive proposals.
• Conduct client presentations, business meetings and contract negotiations.
• Maintain regular follow-up with prospective clients from initial enquiry through contract award.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide regular updates to Management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Facility Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of Business Development/Sales experience, preferably within Facility Management, Cleaning Services, Property Management, Building Services, Security, Manpower Outsourcing or related industries.
• Proven track record in generating leads and securing new business contracts.
• Experience in tender preparation, costing, proposals and contract negotiation is strongly preferred.
• Existing network within property management, commercial buildings, corporate clients or related industries will be an advantage.
• Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
• Commercially driven with good understanding of pricing and contract profitability.
• Able to work independently and proactively develop new business.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel for client meetings and site visits.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
