Junior Accounts Assistant

$2,500 – $3,000

9am - 6pm (Mon to Fri)

Job Responsibilities

• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), including invoicing, payment checking and supplier payments.
• Perform basic bookkeeping, journal entries and reconciliation of bank and supplier statements.
• Maintain accounting records, including fixed assets and prepayments.
• Assist with cash flow monitoring and month-end/year-end closing.
• Support GST reporting and external audit requirements.
• Handle general office administration, including office supplies, inventory and maintenance.
• Maintain customer and supplier records and liaise with relevant parties.
• Provide administrative support to Sales, Operations and HR when required.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Nitec or Diploma in Accountancy, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant Accounts & Administration experience.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with Odoo ERP is preferred.
• Willing to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Shipping industry experience will be an advantage.
