Responsibilities
About the role
Reports to the Leasing Manager with specific responsibilities for the leasing, marketing and lease management activities of The Star Vista.
Key responsibilities
Support the Leasing Manager in retail planning which includes trade/tenant mix review and planning
Propose, source and secure suitable tenants that fit into the desired tenant mix of the mall, including active cold callings, site viewings and negotiation on new leases and renewals
Preparation and tracking of lease documentation and marketing kits
Operate various systems and tools in tenant sales and lease performance monitoring, rental analysis and forecasting, management reporting
Assist in market research and analysis of trends, data and preparation of reports to monitor/determine/validate performance of the mall and/or competitors
Establish and maintain good landlord-tenant relationships
Engage and maintain good relationships with prospective tenants and real estate consultants and associations
Monitor rental payments to ensure timely settlement by tenants and initiate necessary action to recover any arrears
Handle and follow up with tenants and vendor on the monthly GTO sales via portal and POS system
Support feasibility studies and formulation of new innovative retail formats and curated concepts
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Real Estate Management, Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in shopping mall
Proven track record in retail leasing with good network of tenants and contacts
Good written and spoken communication skills, with strong negotiation and numeracy skills
Computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft software such as Excel and PowerPoint
Meticulous, ability to multi-task and work within tight timeline
Positive disposition, independent, resourceful and a team player
