Responsibilities:

• Conduct accounting and tax due diligence for overseas expansion and merger & acquisition projects.
• Provide accounting, tax, and financial support to overseas subsidiaries and business operations.
• Assist in the design, implementation, and enhancement of internal control frameworks for overseas entities.
• Coordinate with regional stakeholders and headquarters on financial reporting, compliance, and governance matters.
• Deliver accounting and tax advisory services to clients on cross-border business activities.
• Support various regional business initiatives and projects as required.
• Undertake responsibilities aligned with experience, expertise, and business needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 to 5 years of relevant experience gained in an audit firm, accounting firm, or related professional services environment.
• Strong practical knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
• Experience supporting overseas operations, regional projects, or cross-border engagements is an added advantage.
• Professional qualifications such as Japanese CPA, US CPA, Certified Tax Accountant, or equivalent are an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
