Responsibilities
The Area Hygiene Manager is responsible for leading and governing food safety, hygiene, sanitation and
regulatory compliance programmes across all Shangri-La Singapore properties. The position drives
consistency in food safety standards, oversees audit readiness, manages risk mitigation initiatives, and
ensures compliance with Shangri-La Food Safety Standards (SFS), ISO 22000, HACCP requirements and local
regulatory requirements.
The incumbent provides strategic leadership to the Hygiene Managers at each property, ensuring effective
implementation of food safety systems, standardisation of practices, continuous improvement initiatives and
a strong food safety culture across the cluster.
