Job Description

1. Assist in the installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and machinery.

2. Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of production machines.

3. Troubleshoot mechanical problems and carry out necessary repairs.

4. Monitor the operation and performance of powder coating equipment.

5. Assist in maintaining spray booths, curing ovens, conveyor systems and other production equipment.

6. Ensure all machinery and equipment are operating safely and efficiently.

7. Prepare maintenance records and report equipment breakdowns.

8. Assist in equipment improvement and modification works.

9. Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements.

10. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

1. Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

2. Preferably 1–2 years of relevant working experience.

3. Experience in machinery maintenance, troubleshooting or manufacturing industry will be an advantage.

4. Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, tools and equipment.

5. Able to perform maintenance and repair work independently.

6. Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

7. Responsible, hardworking and willing to learn.
