1. Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, per the job description. STPM eligibility is pending confirmation.
2. Residential and commercial interior design project experience is preferred. The ticket lists a 3-year minimum and also welcomes fresh graduates. How the minimum applies is pending confirmation.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, 3ds Max, Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft Office.
4. Strong design sense and attention to detail.
5. Good communication and project management skills.
6. Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
7. A design portfolio is required. Include 3D visuals or completed project photos, construction drawings, and detail drawings.
8. Bahasa Malaysia and English are required.
9. Mandarin is required to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
10. Knowledge of sustainable or eco-friendly design is an advantage.
11. Familiarity with local suppliers and material markets, including materials, finishes, furniture specifications, construction methods, and site coordination, is an advantage.
12. Strong skills in preparing layout plans, construction drawings, detail drawings, and 3D perspectives are an advantage.
13. Having your own transport is an advantage.

1. Develop design concepts, mood boards, and space plans.
2. Prepare 2D drawings, 3D visualizations, material boards, and presentations.
3. Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and décor.
4. Work with clients to understand their needs and propose suitable design solutions.
5. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
6. Conduct site visits and oversee work progress.
7. Ensure work complies with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
