Job Summary
We are seeking an AWS Cloud & Systems Engineer to provide second-level infrastructure support and administration across AWS, Windows, and Linux environments in a managed services setting.
Responsibilities
Administer and maintain AWS EC2 instances and cloud infrastructure to ensure reliable service delivery
Perform Windows and Linux server administration, troubleshooting issues to maintain system stability
Execute operating system patching and security hardening to protect infrastructure integrity
Manage AWS IAM and access controls to enforce security policies and operational compliance
Support backup, recovery, and restoration operations to safeguard data availability and integrity
Monitor infrastructure health, availability, and performance to proactively identify and resolve issues
Investigate and resolve infrastructure incidents and service requests to minimize downtime
Execute approved infrastructure changes following change management procedures to maintain system stability
Troubleshoot operational issues across AWS, Windows, and Linux platforms to ensure continuous service
Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and incident records for knowledge sharing and compliance
Required competencies and certifications
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in infrastructure operations
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS and Windows/Linux infrastructure operations
Proven expertise in AWS EC2 administration
Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration
Experience in patching, security hardening, backup, and recovery operations
Working knowledge of AWS IAM, infrastructure monitoring, and troubleshooting
Experience supporting production environments under SLA requirements
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent qualification
AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate certification
