Retail Assistant (Bakery)
B&B Bakery | Taman Sentosa, Johor Bahru
We are looking for friendly, responsible and motivated Retail Assistants to join our team at B&B Bakery! If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and providing excellent customer service, we would love to hear from you.
Job Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist customers with bakery product selection and enquiries.
- Handle cashier duties, POS transactions and daily payments accurately.
- Arrange, replenish and maintain attractive bakery product displays.
- Monitor product freshness, expiry dates and stock availability.
- Perform daily stock checks and assist with inventory management.
- Maintain outlet cleanliness, hygiene and food safety standards.
- Assist with daily opening and closing procedures.
- Follow company SOPs and instructions from supervisors.
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth outlet operations.
Job Requirements
- Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent preferred.
- Fresh graduates and candidates without experience are welcome to apply.
- Previous experience in retail, bakery or F&B is an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, hardworking, responsible and punctual.
- Able to work on rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- Willing to learn and work in a team.
- Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia; basic English is an advantage.
