Role Description The Data Migration Analyst will plan, execute, and validate data migration activities for new implementations, upgrades, and system integrations. Responsibilities include analyzing source and target data structures, mapping and transforming data, and ensuring data quality, accuracy, and completeness throughout migration cycles. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to gather requirements, clarify data rules, and resolve data-related issues. The analyst will prepare documentation, migration scripts, test cases, and reports, as well as monitor migration performance, troubleshoot errors, and support post-migration reviews and continuous improvement.

Documentation & Presentation

• MUST have knowledge and experience in KRISA document templates / standards.
• Strong technical and system documentation writing skills.
• Able to prepare structured system analysis, process flow and technical documentation.
• Able to translate technical findings into clear documentation.
• Good PowerPoint and presentation skills.
• Able to present and explain findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Technical & Data Migration

• Experience in system analysis from frontend to backend.
• Basic to intermediate SQL and database querying skills.
• Able to analyse database tables, columns, relationships and ETL data flow.
• Able to understand system processes and business rules.
• Experience or exposure to data mapping, data validation and reconciliation.
• Data Migration or legacy system migration experience is an advantage.

Candidate Requirements

• Malaysian citizen.
• Mid to Senior level experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work in Subang Jaya / Cyberjaya.
