Responsibilities

Job Description

Plan, coordinate and manage construction projects from commencement to completion.

Oversee daily construction activities and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and according to quality standards.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.

Manage project schedules, manpower, materials, equipment and resources.

Review construction drawings, specifications, method statements and project documents.

Monitor project progress, costs, quality and work performance.

Supervise project managers, site engineers, supervisors and site workers.

Identify and resolve technical, operational and site-related issues.

Ensure all construction works comply with approved plans, specifications and applicable Singapore regulations.

Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health requirements at project sites.

Conduct site meetings and provide regular progress reports to management and clients.

Coordinate procurement and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure works are completed according to contractual requirements.

Assist in project planning, budgeting, tendering and contract administration.

Maintain proper project records and documentation.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building or a related discipline.

Minimum

5 years of relevant experience in construction/project management

.

Experience in managing construction projects and site operations.

Good knowledge of construction methods, project scheduling, cost control and contract administration.

Able to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.

Strong leadership, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Good knowledge of workplace safety and health requirements in Singapore.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction/project management software.

Able to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet project deadlines.

Experience in

construction and M&E/electrical projects

will be an advantage.

Relevant Singapore construction industry experience will be an advantage.
