Role Description The Finance Accounting Senior Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Kuala Lumpur. This position is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance with relevant accounting standards, and timely reporting. Day-to-day tasks include managing general ledger entries, reconciling accounts, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders on financial matters. The role also involves using accounting software and financial tools to maintain records, support audits, and provide analytical insights that inform management decisions. The specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes, strengthen controls, and support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Xionex’s operational goals.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Finance and Financial Statements, with the ability to interpret and present financial information clearly.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills to review data, identify variances, and provide meaningful insights and recommendations.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software and related financial systems, with the capacity to learn new tools and technologies.
• Effective Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, preparing reports, and engaging with stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) are an advantage.
• Experience in a senior accounting or finance role, preferably within banking, insurance, or technology-enabled service environments.
• Solid understanding of relevant accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
