Role summary

Deliver friendly, efficient counter and table service to guests, helping create a great first impression of Kenmaki.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them through ordering, explaining hand roll fillings, combos and add-ons
• Take orders accurately using the POS system and relay special requests to the kitchen
• Serve food and beverages promptly, checking presentation and order accuracy before delivery
• Proactively check in on guests during their meal and handle simple requests or concerns
• Handle cashiering, bill settlement and basic reconciliation at the point of sale
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, tables, condiment stations and service counters throughout the shift
• Restock service items (napkins, cutlery, sauces, packaging) and assist with food assembly/packing during rushes
• Communicate order timing and special requests clearly between floor and kitchen
• Follow grooming, hygiene and food safety standards at all times
• Support opening/closing tasks such as setup, cleaning and stock counts as assigned

Requirements

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided
• Friendly, presentable and willing to learn
• Able to work in a fast-paced, standing environment
• Available to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Basic English/Bahasa Malaysia communication skills
• SPM or equivalent
