Job Summary

The Manager - Supply Chain Systems Development (Strategy & Transformation) is a visionary lead software engineer to bridge the gap between advanced AI technology and mission-critical supply chain operations. He/she will spearhead our cross-functional team of software and AI application developers to architect and deploy an integrated, end-to-end intelligent supply chain ecosystem.

His/her mandate is to design and implement AI-led solutions that transform how we conduct inventory forecasting demand, manage procurement, and orchestrate logistics operations. Beyond technical architecture, he/she will serve as a consultative leader—partnering with internal teams and customers to apply design thinking to business processes.

The Manager - Supply Chain Systems Development (Strategy & Transformation) will ensure that our solutions are not just high-performing, but strategically aligned to drive operational efficiency, measurable ROI, and sustainable business growth. He/she will thrive in an environment where your professional decisions are consistently guided and grounded by our corporate values of integrity, innovation, and a commitment to our collective success.

He/she will demonstrate strategic supply chain leadership, deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations, and the ability to translate complex business challenges into scalable AI-driven transformation initiatives that deliver immediate and sustained business value.

Job Responsibilities/Key Tasks(External)

End-to-End System Ownership - Lead the development and integration of a comprehensive AI-driven supply chain operating platform covering:

  • Inventory Forecasting Demand: Deploy sophisticated predictive models to analyze inventory-specific demand patterns, incorporating seasonality, market trends, and lead-time variability to ensure optimal stock levels and availability.
  • Procurement Management: Build automated, intelligent procurement systems that optimize vendor selection, purchase order generation, and cost-efficiency.
  • Logistics Operations: Develop optimization engines for route planning, warehouse resource allocation, and real-time distribution efficiency.
  • Strategic Leadership: Mentor a team of engineers, championing best practices in code quality, system architecture, and MLOps.
  • Workflow Transformation: Utilize Design Thinking to audit, redesign, and automate legacy workflows. Ensure that process re-engineering and AI implementation work in tandem to eliminate bottlenecks.
  • Customer & Stakeholder Partnering: Act as a technical authority in client-facing engagements. Translate complex business pain points into scalable technical requirements that deliver immediate business value.
  • Cultural Leadership: Embody our corporate culture in all interactions, fostering a collaborative, transparent, and high-performance team environment.

Job Requirements

  • Expert-level Python for both ML modeling and backend systems. Proficient in time-series forecasting (Prophet, LSTMs, Transformers) and constraint-based optimization (OR-Tools, Gurobi).
  • Proficiency in time-series forecasting techniques (Prophet, ARIMA, LSTMs, Transformer-based models)
  • Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), containerization, and MLOps pipelines (CI/CD for data and model versions) including compute, storage, and ML services
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Expertise in ML pipeline orchestration and MLOps practices (model versioning, experiment tracking, CI/CD for data and models)
  • Proficiency with databases, data lakes, and data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, PostgreSQL)
  • Proficiency in machine learning techniques such as supervised/unsupervised learning and deep learning
  • Comprehensive understanding of the integrated supply chain, specifically regarding the nuances of inventory forecasting demand, purchasing, warehousing and last-mile/distribution logistics. Proven record of delivering quantifiable ROI (e.g., reduction in inventory holding costs, improvements in delivery speed, or automated procurement throughput).
  • Ability to conduct process discovery, facilitate design-thinking workshops, and articulate technical roadmaps to non-technical executive stakeholders.
  • Direct experience integrating AI solutions with major ERP (SAP, Oracle) or WMS platforms.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, capable of navigating complex conversations with both technical developers and business clients.
  • Knowledge of AI frameworks and tools is a must
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities

Professional Qualifications & Relevant Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering or Data Science.
  • 7+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years specifically in AI/ML development. Proven track record of leading technical teams through complex, multi-phase project lifecycles.
  • 7-10 years of experience in analytics, data science, or AI
