Brief Summary

• Drive an enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) programme by combining delivery governance with hands-on policy and control design.
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen data protection controls, reporting, and security governance for modern collaboration and AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the programme roadmap, delivery plan, and key milestones to support end-to-end implementation
• Coordinate project governance activities including status reporting, risk/issue tracking, dependency management, and stakeholder updates
• Facilitate alignment and decision-making across business and technology stakeholders, including compliance and risk partners
• Define DLP requirements, policies, and governance standards aligned to organisational needs
• Establish and maintain data classification and information protection frameworks to guide DLP controls
• Design and implement DLP controls across collaboration and productivity tools (e.g., email, document storage, and messaging platforms)
• Lead DLP solution governance activities, including design reviews and validation of control effectiveness
• Identify improvement opportunities and recommend enhancements to strengthen data protection and reduce leakage risk
• Assess security risks arising from AI-enabled productivity tools and propose practical controls and operating guardrails
• Partner with AI adoption and technology teams to embed security requirements into rollout plans and operating processes
• Develop executive-ready materials and dashboards to track programme progress, key metrics, and decision points
• Analyse issues, compare solution options, and support stakeholder decision-making with structured recommendations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cyber security, information security, data protection, or technology risk
• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting enterprise-scale DLP / data protection initiatives (policy, governance, and/or control implementation)
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, policy development, governance framework design, and security control implementation
• Good working knowledge of modern collaboration and productivity security controls, including data protection tooling and governance concepts
• Demonstrated project / programme management capability (planning, scope, risk & issue management, change control, and stakeholder coordination)
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders
• Strong analytical and presentation skills, with the ability to produce clear updates, dashboards, and executive materials
• Security or compliance-related certifications are advantageous
• Exposure to AI governance and data protection considerations for AI-enabled tools is a plus
• Experience supporting regional or multi-entity security programmes is preferred
• Proficient in Japanese to effectively communicate and collaborate with Japanese-speaking stakeholders and clients
