POSITION 1: Device42 Consultant
Salary: RM 8,000–10,000 per month
Job Summary
The Tester will validate software applications against defined business requirements and ensure that defects are identified, documented, and resolved before release.
Key Responsibilities
- Review requirements and prepare test cases and test scenarios.
- Execute functional, system, integration, and regression testing.
- Verify application workflows, data validation, and business rules.
- Record defects with clear steps to reproduce and supporting evidence.
- Retest resolved defects and confirm expected functionality.
- Maintain test execution records and report testing progress.
- Coordinate with developers and senior QA team members.
- Follow established testing procedures and quality standards.
Requirements
- Experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Understanding of manual testing techniques and the software development life cycle.
- Ability to prepare test cases and defect reports.
- Familiarity with Jira or other defect tracking tools.
- Basic SQL, API testing, or Agile knowledge is an advantage.
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
