Job Description

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Project Coordinator to support the Project Manager across major Facilities & Infrastructure packages on a large-scale pharmaceutical project.


The role will focus on coordinating EPCM, contractors, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, to the required quality and in line with regulatory requirements.


Key project areas include:

  • Central Utility Building (CUB)
  • Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) / BOOT facility
  • Spine Corridor
  • External Pipe Rack
  • Utility distribution and site infrastructure


Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate day-to-day delivery across assigned project packages.
  • Monitor EPCM and contractor progress against schedules and milestones.
  • Track engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover activities.
  • Coordinate interfaces between EPCM, contractors, operations and other project teams.
  • Manage and track tie-ins, utility connections, shutdowns and site integration activities.
  • Identify risks, delays and project constraints and support recovery actions.
  • Coordinate authority inspections, permits, approvals and close-out activities.
  • Track project actions, risks, issues and milestones.
  • Prepare dashboards, reports and project updates.
  • Coordinate project meetings, minutes and action tracking.
  • Support FAT, SAT, ITP, commissioning and performance testing activities.
  • Monitor punch-list and quality issues through to closure.
  • Support coordination between construction, commissioning and operational readiness.


Ideal background:

  • Experience working as a Project Coordinator / Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience within pharmaceutical, life sciences, manufacturing or other highly regulated environments would be beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of EPCM, construction delivery and project interfaces.
  • Experience coordinating multiple contractors and stakeholders.
  • Good knowledge of project controls, schedules, reporting and action tracking.
  • Comfortable working across engineering, construction and commissioning phases.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Able to identify issues, drive actions and escalate risks when required.
