Assistant Robotics & Automation Manager (Productivity)

Assist the Robotics & Automation Manager/ BIM Manager in driving the Company’s robotics, automation and construction productivity initiatives. Support the planning, evaluation, implementation and optimization of robotic and automated solutions across construction projects to improve productivity, efficiency, safety, quality and cost effectiveness. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, project management, and IT to design and deploy cutting-edge robotic solutions tailored to meet the complex demands of construction and oversee the deployment of robotics and advanced technologies on construction sites.

Robotics & Automation Implementation

• Assist in developing and implementing the Company’s robotics and automation initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for robotics, automation and innovative technologies to improve construction productivity.
• Coordinate the deployment and implementation of robotic systems and automated equipment across projects.
• Evaluate new robotics and automation technologies for suitability to construction site operations.
• Monitor the performance and utilization of deployed robotics and recommend improvements.
• Assist in developing SOPs, operating procedures and maintenance plans for robotic systems.

Productivity Improvement

• Analyse construction workflows and identify productivity bottlenecks and opportunities for automation.
• Work with Project Managers and site teams to develop productivity improvement initiatives.
• Support the establishment and monitoring of productivity KPIs.
• Analyse labour utilization, equipment productivity and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Track productivity gains, cost savings and operational benefits from automation initiatives.

Technology Development & R&D

• Support research and development of robotics and automation technologies for construction applications.
• Assist in integrating automation solutions into existing construction workflows.
• Support the development and testing of hardware, control systems and technology solutions.
• Work with IT and technical teams on applications forreal-time monitoring, data collection and system control.
• Conduct pilot testing and proof-of-concept trials before wider project deployment.

Project & Site Support

• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Site Supervisors and workers during technology implementation.
• Provide technical and operational support for robotics and automated equipment deployed at project sites.
• Monitor equipment performance, utilization and reliability.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate with technology vendors for technical support.
• Ensure proper operation, maintenance and storage of robotics equipment.

Training & Change Management

• Conduct training, demonstrations and user briefings on new robotics and automation systems.
• Support site teams during the transition and adoption of new technologies.
• Develop user guides, SOPs and training materials.
• Promote the adoption of technology and a culture o continuous improvement.

Government Grants & Industry Collaboration

• Support applications for BCA, Enterprise Singapore and other relevant government grants.
• Assist in preparing project proposals, technical submissions and supporting documentation.
• Support grant reporting, compliance and audit requirements.
• Coordinate with technology suppliers, research institutes, universities and industry partners.

Compliance, Safety & Risk Management

• Ensure robotics and automation systems comply with applicable regulatory, safety and operational requirements.
• Support risk assessments for technology implementation and site deployment.
• Work closely with WSH teams to ensure safe operation of automated equipment.
• Ensure implementation activities comply with Company policies and site requirements.
