Key Responsibilities
A. Brand Planning, Consumer Insights & Portfolio Performance
- Develop recommended annual consumer marketing plans and activity calendars for Vitasoy’s core brands under the direction of the Head of Sales & Marketing, proposing target audiences, positioning, priorities and investment for approval. Agree campaign and launch priorities and sequencing across the brand portfolio to align delivery with business objectives and available resources.
- Support the Head of Sales & Marketing in the five-year planning and annual budgeting processes by preparing brand- and SKU-level volume and value forecasts, trade spend projections and advertising and promotion (A&P) projections, working with the relevant commercial teams and Finance to align assumptions and consolidate inputs.
- Track consumer needs, usage occasions, category trends and competitor activity through market visits, available research, sales data and digital analytics; translate findings into practical growth opportunities.
- Review brand and SKU performance with Sales and Finance; recommend portfolio, proposition and pack-price improvements, supported by consumer relevance and commercial analysis.
- Prepare regular brand performance reviews covering results against plan, key drivers, risks and corrective actions; use market share and brand health measures where reliable data is available.
B. Integrated Campaigns, Digital & Consumer Activation
- Manage approved campaigns from brief to post-campaign review, setting clear consumer objectives, messages, deliverables, timelines and success measures with creative, media and activation agencies.
- Coordinate social content, digital media, creator partnerships, sampling and consumer events to strengthen awareness, relevance, trial and repeat purchase; maintain consistent brand identity across touchpoints.
- Provide brand direction and marketing asset support to distributors and business partners across both tofu and beverage businesses, including brand guidelines, product content, campaign materials and launch toolkits. Work with the relevant commercial owners to ensure partner communications and locally adapted materials are consistent with approved brand positioning and identity.
- Partner with Sales and business partners on brand-led online content, product pages and launch assets. Monitor campaign engagement, traffic and conversion where measurable and recommend optimisation.
C. New Product Development & Launch Readiness
- Support the innovation and renovation pipeline by developing consumer propositions, concept and packaging briefs, and launch recommendations; coordinate consumer feedback or testing where appropriate.
- Coordinate new launches with Group Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, Export and Finance, alongside Operations and Sales. Coordinate their inputs to complete value chain assessments covering costs, pricing, margins and commercial viability, and track product and packaging development, business case inputs, forecast assumptions, artwork and launch readiness against agreed timelines and milestones. Work with the relevant functional owners to resolve dependencies and escalate risks promptly to meet business objectives.
- Work with Regulatory and the relevant technical teams to ensure product claims, packaging and consumer materials comply with applicable local regulatory requirements and receive the required technical, regulatory and management approvals before release. Deliver launch toolkits and post-launch reviews against agreed timing, consumer response and commercial objectives.
D. Marketing Budget, Agency & Project Management
- Manage approved advertising and promotion (A&P) budgets, maintaining accurate commitments, actual spend and forecasts; coordinate purchase orders, invoices and accruals with Finance.
- Evaluate campaign and activation effectiveness against agreed objectives and costs; recommend investment adjustments and apply learnings to subsequent plans.
- Manage agency and supplier briefs, quotations, timelines and deliverable quality within approval and procurement requirements; maintain organised brand assets and project records.
- Work closely with rest of sales, commercial and marketing team to align on brand initiatives, market feedback and launch execution. Drive delivery through cross-functional coordination and influence rather than line authority; keep the Head of Sales & Marketing informed of progress, decisions required and material variances.
