Job Summary

We are seeking an ambitious individual to join us in our journey in scaling with GROW with Singlife. This role takes full charge of our Business Operations which oversees both Control & Regulatory Reporting team as well as any operation-related matters.

This role will be involved in various decisions making and planning which involves guiding the other team members within/across teams in GROW on the best practices – to help steer towards our strategic goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) – scope of coverage and oversight are as follows:

• Assume as the Head of Business Operations will oversee our Control & Regulatory Reporting team to ensure full compliance with the standards of regulatory reporting (e.g. CPF COI reporting, MAS related reporting, FATCA/CRS related reporting)
• Able to strategize the best and optimal approach within the Operations teams to assist the Chief Operating Officer as well as other Senior Management members for decisions and ultimately enabling scaling of GROW’s business as per our strategic plans.
• Fully accountable for management of vendors as well as other departments (e.g. subsidiaries, intra-group stakeholders within Singlife).
• Principal point of contact for the management of regulators, including CPF Board as well as Agent Banks, to facilitate the need for business-critical topics as well as daily operational matters.
• Oversee including business planning (budgeting) for Operations team that are primarily based in another subsidiary within Singlife to ensure adequate Operational coverage.
  
  

Requirements

• 8 years and above experience in handling investment operations industry or any operations within a Financial Institutions, preferably with strong knowledge of Unit Trust/investment including Cost of Investments (COI) reporting with regulators and agent banks.
• Strong attention to detail and good time management skills.
• Strategic in nature and possess an open & growth mindset to changes and challenges, always being highly adaptable, and self-independent party with logical, structured thinking/decision making skills
• Strong stakeholder management skills as a governance for Operations teams
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
