Role Description The Food and Beverage Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based at REN Wellness Retreat in Subang Jaya. This team member supports daily food and beverage operations, including assisting with food preparation, setting up service areas, and ensuring hygienic handling and presentation of food and drinks. The role involves serving guests in lounges, dining areas, and event spaces, taking orders, and providing attentive, courteous service that aligns with REN’s wellness-focused environment. The Food and Beverage Assistant also helps maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, restocks supplies, and collaborates with kitchen and service staff to deliver a smooth, high-quality guest experience.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Food Preparation and Food & Beverage operations, with attention to hygiene and safety standards.
• Experience in Food Service, including serving meals, beverages, and supporting buffet or event setups.
• Proven Customer Service and Communication skills, with a friendly, professional approach to guest interaction.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, follow standard operating procedures, and adapt to a wellness-focused hospitality environment.
• Prior experience in hospitality, resorts, or wellness centers is an advantage.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by operational needs.
• Basic knowledge of food safety practices; formal certification in food handling or hospitality is beneficial.
