About the Role (Mission)
The IAD Delivery Manager (East Asia) is accountable for end-to-end delivery performance, operational excellence and profitable growth across a complex, multi-country portfolio of projects and services. This role drives large-scale transformation, cost optimisation and execution excellence, ensuring consistent, scalable, and high-quality delivery across geographically distributed teams, working in partnership with Country Operations. This position will shape and execute the regional delivery strategy, balancing customer value, financial performance and operational efficiency, while positioning the organization for long-term competitiveness in a rapidly evolving digital and industrial landscape.
What will you do?
Strategic leadership & transformation:
Build and execute the regional delivery strategy, aligned with IAD vision and long-term business objectives
Lead large-scale organisational transformation programmes, simplifying operating models, standardizing processes and embedding best-in-class delivery frameworks
Act as a change agent, challenging legacy practices and driving continuous improvement across people, processes and technology
Sponsor innovation in delivery models including digitalization, automation, AI-enabled services, Software-defined automation and cybersecurity integration
Build and lead a high-performing leadership succession, developing future-ready capabilities across a highly matrixed and culturally-diverse organization, building scalable growth in emerging and maturing markets
Customer engagement, value creation, cost optimization & financial performance:
Own regional delivery performance with direct accountability for margin expansion, cost efficiency and financial predictability
Drive sustainable cost optimization initiatives, including localization strategy and resource optimization, including effective utilization of EEC model
Strengthen commercial discipline, ensuring robust contract management, risk mitigation and delivery of sustained margin improvement and cost competitiveness across the region
Strengthen customer loyalty and long-term revenue growth through execution, acting as a senior executive sponsor for key strategic customers, strengthening long-term partnerships
Complex Programme & Services Execution:
Oversee execution of large, complex, multi-country projects and service contracts, ensuring delivery to scope, time, cost and quality, ensuring consistent project governance, risk management and escalation frameworks across all geographies
Drive customer-centric delivery excellence, ensuring high satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership growth
What qualifications will make you successful?
Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Experience in industrial, automation or technology-driven services environments
Significant exposure to global operations and offshore/ nearshore delivery models
Culturally sensitive and aware, with fluency in English (additional languages advantageous)
Strong strategic thinker combined with hands-on execution excellence and success in cost optimization, transformation and operational excellence including P&L management and margin optimization
Exceptional ability to influence at executive level across a complex, matrix environment
Strong expertise in complex project delivery, services operations and commercial management
Focused People Leader, supporting the growth and development of teams, with a continuously learning, transformative mindset
Ability to challenge professionally, creating scope for discussion and negotiation
