Driven by cutting-edge technology and world-class engineering standards, we are expanding our Subang operations and seeking a battle-tested technical leader to drive shop-floor execution and team growth.

Position Overview

As the Lead Powerplant Engineer, you will serve as the critical technical bridge between customer specifications and shop-floor engineering execution. Leading a dedicated team of 6 engineers and technical staff, you will translate complex aviation requirements into seamless operational workflows in SAP, ensuring technical accuracy, team accountability, and shop-floor efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Bridge & Interface: Translate customer documentation and workscope requirements directly into precise work instructions within the SAP system.

  • Workflow & Process Execution: Direct technical directives to Process Engineers for execution, ensuring seamless handoffs between engineering and shop-floor operations.

  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, delegate, and supervise a team of 6 engineers and technical staff, providing active mentorship and technical oversight to guide younger engineers.

  • Hands-on Problem Solving: Provide technical foresight, resolve engine and powerplant technical bottlenecks, and maintain high engineering quality standards.

  • Digital Transformation: Drive innovation by leveraging modern digital tools and AI applications to streamline engineering workflows and boost productivity.

Qualifications & Candidate Profile

  • Industry Background: Proven experience within aviation, MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul), or engine overhaul environments.

  • Technical Skills: Strong powerplant domain knowledge (including CFF processes) and proficiency with SAP.

  • Digital Savviness: Demonstrated interest or proficiency in leveraging AI and modern digital tools to optimize workflows.

  • Mindset & Leadership: A "battle-tested," articulate leader who is hands-on and comfortable offering constructive challenge to drive process improvements.
