Job Overview & Responsibilities

• Perform installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades of sophisticated customer equipment.
• Investigate and resolve equipment-related issues by applying engineering principles, technical manuals, and appropriate diagnostic equipment.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and assist in creating and improving technical work instructions and service documentation.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional internal teams to address technical problems and deliver assigned projects effectively.
• Provide technical support, coaching, and knowledge transfer to junior engineers and team members.
• Support other engineering activities and project assignments as required by the business.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Hardware Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• 7–10 years of relevant professional experience in Field Service Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Technical Support, or a comparable engineering function.
• Proven hands-on experience within the semiconductor manufacturing industry is mandatory.
• Strong hands-on mechanical and technical capabilities, with practical exposure to areas such as pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum technology, and/or thermodynamics.
• Proficient in using engineering measurement and diagnostic equipment, including digital multimeters, standard hand tools, and other troubleshooting instruments.
• Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing operations, wafer-processing conditions, and high-precision production equipment.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, deliver technical training, and collaborate with international engineering teams.
• Good command of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, for technical reporting and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Solid experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing equipment or working in other advanced/high-precision technology environments.
• Practical exposure to front-end semiconductor manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with semiconductor process equipment, inspection and metrology systems, or other precision-engineered manufacturing equipment.
• Previous experience in large-scale multinational semiconductor, technology, or engineering organizations.
• Experience coordinating technical projects, leading engineering discussions, and interacting directly with customers and stakeholders.
