  • Build and maintain talent pools for film, television, commercial, and digital content productions.
  • Review portfolios, showreels, casting tapes, profiles, and previous performance work.
  • Prepare candidate shortlists and provide casting recommendations to Directors, Producers, and relevant production stakeholders.
  • Organise and conduct physical and virtual auditions, callbacks, screen tests, and talent assessments.
  • Coordinate audition schedules, venues, materials, technical requirements, and communication with talent and agencies.
  • Communicate audition outcomes and next steps professionally with shortlisted and participating talent.
  • Coordinate talent availability and support final cast selection based on creative and production requirements.
  • Liaise with talent agencies, managers, actors, production teams, and other external stakeholders throughout the casting process.
  • Support negotiations relating to talent fees, availability, contracts, usage requirements, and production schedules.
  • Work with internal legal and production teams to ensure casting documentation and talent agreements are properly coordinated.
  • Ensure selected performers understand production guidelines, filming expectations, schedules, and relevant project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate casting records, talent databases, audition materials, availability information, and contract documentation.
  • Monitor emerging talent, industry trends, and developments across Singapore and regional entertainment markets.
  • Support multiple productions simultaneously while maintaining agreed timelines, budgets, and casting standards.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Film, Media, Communications, Performing Arts, Theatre, Entertainment Management, or a related discipline.
  • 3–7 years of experience in casting, talent management, film or television production, entertainment, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of casting processes for film, television, streaming, advertising, or digital content.
  • Established relationships with actors, talent agencies, managers, performers, or other entertainment industry professionals will be advantageous.
  • Strong ability to interpret scripts, character descriptions, and creative briefs.
  • Experience conducting auditions, callbacks, screen tests, or talent assessments.
  • Good understanding of production schedules, talent availability, contracts, fees, and project budgets.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, relationship management, and decision-making skills.
  • Creative eye with the ability to identify talent that matches specific character and production requirements.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple casting assignments and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working with digital casting platforms, video submissions, talent databases, and online audition tools.
  • Professional and discreet when handling talent information, casting materials, and contractual matters.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.

Working Arrangement

  • Full-time position based in Singapore.
  • Work within a film, television, and digital content production environment.
  • Collaborate closely with Directors, Producers, production managers, creative teams, talent agencies, and performers.
  • Support casting activities from initial script review and talent sourcing through auditions and final cast selection.
  • Attend auditions, rehearsals, production meetings, filming locations, and industry events when required.
