Minimum bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

Must be a qualified accountant with a completed professional qualification such as ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA, or an equivalent recognised professional accountancy qualification.

Strong practical knowledge of MFRS and the ability to prepare and review MFRS-compliant financial statements and technical accounting assessments.

Minimum 6–8 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, reporting, or audit, ncluding at least 2 years in a managerial or team-lead capacity.

Prior external audit experience, particularly with a reputable audit firm or in an auditmanager-facing role, is an added advantage.

Experience in group consolidation, multi-entity reporting, budgeting, cash-flow management, audit coordination, and internal controls.

Exposure to IPO preparation, listed-company reporting, due diligence, corporate exercises, or capital-market transactions is highly advantageous.

Experience in education, franchising, multi-location operations, or another fast-growing service business is an added advantage.

Proficiency in accounting systems, Microsoft Excel, and management reporting tools; experience with cloud accounting, consolidation, or business intelligence systems is preferred.

Financial Reporting & MFRS Compliance – Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing, consolidation, full sets of accounts, management reporting, and ensure compliance with MFRS.

IPO Readiness & Corporate Governance – Drive IPO preparation, including due diligence, financial documentation, internal controls, policies, SOPs, audit trails, and regulatory requirements.

Accounting & Financial Controls – Oversee complex accounting matters, accounting policies, chart of accounts, reconciliations, approval controls, and ensure consistency across entities and business units.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Business Performance – Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow projections, scenario analysis, KPI monitoring, and provide financial insights to support business growth and profitability.

Finance Operations, Treasury & Compliance – Oversee AR, AP, GL, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, collections, payments, cash flow, banking, tax, SST, payroll-related matters, and statutory compliance.

Audit, Risk & Stakeholder Management – Manage external audits, resolve audit findings, and work closely with senior management, auditors, tax advisers, bankers, legal advisers, and other stakeholders.

Finance Systems & Process Improvement – Drive automation, process standardisation, system implementation/enhancement, data accuracy, reporting efficiency, and finance transformation initiatives.

Team Leadership & Development – Lead, coach, and develop the finance team, improve accountability and productivity, and build a strong finance function to support the organisation’s growth and IPO journey.
