Full Time Technical Support Executive Jobs, Salary up to MYR 3,500 in AJX VENTURE SDN BHD WP Kuala Lumpur - Maukerja

POS Support (primary)

• Install, configure and commission our in-house POS at new outlets: Windows setup, service installation, printer/kiosk pairing, outlet identity and cloud sync onboarding with Head Office

• Provide first- and second-line support for POS issues: services not starting, printer bridge/receipt printer faults, kiosk and counter display problems, sync failures

• Perform routine health checks, backups and updates on outlet POS machines

• Maintain a hardware inventory (terminals, printers, cash drawers, scanners, kiosks, displays) and a spares kit

• Log, track and escalate bugs to the development team with clear reproduction steps

• Train outlet staff on day-to-day POS operation and basic troubleshooting

CCTV

• Install, configure and maintain IP/analog CCTV systems and NVR/DVR units at outlets

• Manage remote viewing access for management, retention settings and storage

• Retrieve and export footage on request; carry out periodic camera and recording checks

Networking and Cabling

• Plan and run structured cabling (Cat6, patch panels, termination, labelling) for new and existing sites

• Configure routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points and basic firewall rules

• Liaise with ISPs (TM, Maxis, Time, etc.) on installations, outages and upgrades

• Ensure POS, CCTV and payment terminals have reliable, segmented connectivity

General IT Support

• Support head office and outlet staff on laptops, desktops, printers, Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace, email and shared drives

• Manage user accounts, onboarding/offboarding and device setup

• Maintain basic endpoint security (antivirus, updates, access control) and enforce IT policies

• Keep documentation current: network diagrams, device lists, credentials (in the password manager), SOPs

• Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent; 2+ years in IT support or field engineering

• Strong Windows 10/11 troubleshooting; comfortable with Windows services, PowerShell basics and the command line

• Hands-on experience with POS systems, receipt printers and payment terminals (retail or F&B strongly preferred)

• Practical networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DHCP/DNS, VLANs, Wi-Fi; able to run and terminate cabling

• CCTV/NVR installation and configuration experience

• Own transport and willingness to travel to outlets across the Klang Valley

• Able to work occasional evenings/weekends for outlet openings and urgent outages

• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin an advantage

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL basics or Node.js-based applications

• Experience with cloud dashboards (AWS) or ticketing tools

• Certifications such as CompTIA A+ / Network+, CCNA or equivalent
