Job Overview

Yeow Jih Industries Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a Technical Supervisor / Technical Leader to oversee maintenance and technical activities at customers’ factories. The role ensures equipment operates safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in a technical supervisory or leadership role within engineering or manufacturing.

• Proficient in AutoCAD and able to read technical drawings.

• Experience with site inspections, maintenance planning, and equipment troubleshooting.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin, as the role involves dealing with international working partners.

• Knowledge of relevant safety, quality, and environmental regulations.

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily maintenance work by the technical team.

• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and oversee repair work.

• Diagnose technical issues and support troubleshooting activities.

• Conduct site inspections and attend site meetings when required.

• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements.
