The Opportunity

Our client, a leading organization, is seeking a VP of Philanthropy & Partnerships to lead fundraising and partnership strategy at the highest level. This is a senior leadership role sitting at the intersection of mission and revenue. You’ll be central to securing the financial support that makes the organization’s work possible.

The Role

You’ll own the philanthropy and partnerships agenda across international and local donors, endowments, and corporate sponsorships. You’ll build the strategy, lead the team, and personally cultivate the relationships that matter most.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead fundraising from international donors, navigating varied tax regimes and giving structures
• Lead fundraising from local donors and build a sustainable major gifts pipeline
• Build and secure endowments from local and international entities
• Secure sponsorships for programmes and events
• Partner with senior leadership to align philanthropy with organizational priorities
• Build and lead a high-performing philanthropy and partnerships function

The Ideal Candidate

You have a proven track record in major gift fundraising, endowment development, or corporate sponsorship at senior level, ideally within non-profit, education or cultural institutions. You understand cross-border giving and the tax considerations that shape international donor decisions. You are a credible, relationship-led leader who can represent the organization to donors, boards, and government stakeholders, and you think commercially about partnerships while staying grounded in mission.
