Job Description

Responsibilities

WE’RE HIRING: SYSTEM ENGINEER – UNIX/LINUX

Location: Bedok, Singapore
Experience:3–5 years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Unix/Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).

  • Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, and performance tuning.

  • Manage backups, security updates, and vulnerability remediation.

  • Develop shell scripts (Bash/Korn) to automate routine tasks.

  • Support infrastructure operations, disaster recovery, and system optimization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 3–5 years of hands-on Unix/Linux system administration experience.

  • Strong knowledge of shell scripting, file systems, LVM, and RAID.

  • Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, NFS, SSH, and monitoring tools.

  • Experience with Ansible, cloud platforms, or Docker is an advantage.
