Job Description
Responsibilities
Our client is a leading global financial group with a network of partner banks operating across Southeast Asia.
This is a newly created, strategic role funded by the group’s Corporate Banking division. It will lead procurement engagement across the group’s partner banks in the region – each a major bank in its own market, operating under its own local management. The aim is simple: bring the banks together, align their buying with the overall group strategy, and use combined scale to unlock significantly bigger savings.
What's on offer:
Role
As IT Procurement Manager, you will own the regional procurement strategy for the partner bank network. You will define buying priorities, understand each bank’s future purchasing plans, and align them with group strategy – identifying where demand can be aggregated and where regional or global agreements can be extended to drive savings.
This is a hands-on, end-to-end role. You will run the full cycle yourself – from stakeholder engagement and market analysis through tendering, negotiation, contracting and supplier management – with no hand-holding. The focus is IT: software licensing, hardware, managed services and everything in between.
