Job Summary

You will plan and deliver UPLIFT student engagement programmes, mentor youths, and collaborate with teachers to support students’ academic and social-emotional development through structured activities and follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organise UPLIFT student engagement programmes, including after-school and holiday activities, to enhance youth development
• Supervise students during activities to promote positive behaviour, peer relationships, and social-emotional growth
• Mentor identified students by setting goals, providing academic support, and facilitating social-emotional learning activities
• Prepare programme materials and monitor student participation to ensure effective engagement
• Coordinate follow-up support with teachers to address student needs and progress
• Maintain accurate programme records, collect student feedback, and prepare evaluation reports to improve future activities
• Collaborate effectively with teachers to support students’ holistic development

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Youth Work, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with youths

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Strong communication skills to engage students and collaborate with educators
• Effective interpersonal skills to build rapport with youths and stakeholders
• Organisational skills to coordinate programmes and manage records efficiently
• Student engagement, mentoring, and programme coordination skills

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Lunch Break: 1 hour daily
