Job Description

1. Clean and sanitise food laboratories, kitchens, workstations and cooking equipment.

2. Prepare ingredients, utensils and equipment for Nutrition and Food Science practical lessons.

3. Receive food deliveries, organise kitchen supplies and ensure safe food storage.

4. Maintain kitchen inventory, monitor expiry dates and update stock records.

5. Conduct thorough laboratory cleaning and stocktaking during school holidays and assist with other assigned operational duties.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE N-Level qualification or equivalent.

• WSQ Food Safety Course (FSC) Level 1 certification required.

• Working experience as an NFS Food Laboratory Assistant in a secondary school required.

• Knowledge of food hygiene, safe food handling and kitchen equipment maintenance preferred.

• Good English communication skills; basic Microsoft Word, Excel and email skills preferred.
  

  Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

  • Lunch Break: 30 minutes daily, based on school timetable
