Job Summary
As a Key Account Manager, you will drive sales growth and profitability by managing assigned accounts as well as develop new business, planning and executing trade promotions in alignment with the company's brand and sales objectives.
Responsibilities
Manage customer accounts within the assigned territory to achieve sales targets and profitability
Identify and develop new business aligned with the company’s growth strategy
Coordinate with business support team and merchandisers to ensure timely delivery, stock replenishment and effective product and point-of-sale displays
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure smooth operations, order fulfillment and promptly resolve any issues related to the customer account
Develop and execute trade marketing plan and promotional activities to support sales objectives
Monitor and analyze sales offtake data and inventory levels to produce accurate forecasts and optimize sales outcomes
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Diploma, degree, or equivalent qualification
3 to 5 years of sales experience managing key accounts, preferably in the FMCG industry
Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
Strong communication and presentation skills demonstrated through effective stakeholder engagement
Customer relationship management skills applied to maintain and grow client accounts
Ability to work independently and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
