Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or a related field
- At least 1-3 years of relevant working experience in taxation or accounting
- Good knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant accounting or tax software
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review corporate and individual tax computations and tax returns
- Handle tax compliance matters, including the preparation and submission of relevant tax documents
- Assist clients with tax planning and advisory matters
- Liaise with the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) and other relevant authorities when required
- Handle tax audits, investigations and enquiries
- Keep up to date with changes in tax laws, regulations and requirements
- Prepare supporting documents and maintain proper tax records and documentation
- Work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure timely completion of tax-related matters
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management
