Job Description
Responsibilities
- On-Site Operations: Direct daily crew activities, assign tasks, and monitor construction progress against project timelines.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce workplace safety rules, conduct regular hazard inspections, ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and maintain compliance with local building codes and OSHA or regional safety standards (such as BCSS in Singapore).
- Subcontractor & Resource Coordination: Coordinate trades, manage deliveries, order building materials, and ensure workers have necessary equipment.
- Quality Control: Perform regular quality checks on workmanship, inspect critical phases of construction, and resolve defects.
- Reporting & Communication: Maintain daily site logs, track attendance, attend site meetings, and report progress to project managers or superintendents.
