Job Description

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Diploma in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, or a related field.

  • Possess 3-5 years of progressive experience in a supervisory or management role within the food service or hospitality industry, with a strong preference for candidates with a hotel background.

  • Demonstrated ability in client relationship management, ensuring satisfaction and fostering strong partnerships with stakeholders.

  • Proven track record in team management, including recruitment, training, performance management, and motivation of staff to achieve operational excellence.

  • Strong administrative management skills, encompassing budgeting, inventory control, procurement, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, team members, and suppliers.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, ensuring efficient service delivery and adherence to quality standards.

  • Proficiency in using relevant food service management software and standard office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily food service operations at the assigned site, ensuring high standards of quality, service, and hygiene are consistently met, drawing upon previous hotel F&B management experience.

  • Manage and lead a team of food service staff, including scheduling, training, performance evaluation, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.

  • Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and control costs within the food service unit.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for client relations, understanding their needs, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring client satisfaction with the food services provided.

  • Manage inventory, procurement of food supplies, and vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to quality specifications.

  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, conducting regular audits and implementing corrective actions as needed.

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial reporting, and administrative tasks related to the food service unit's operations.
