Full Time Head of Operations (F&B) Jobs, Salary up to MYR 7,000 in Bake by Mel WP Kuala Lumpur - Maukerja

1. Operations Management

• Oversee and manage the overall operations of all outlets.

• Lead, supervise and manage the operations team, including Outlet Managers, Head Chefs and other operational staff.

• Ensure smooth daily operations and consistent implementation of company standards across all outlets.

• Monitor outlet performance and identify areas for operational improvement.

• Conduct regular outlet visits and operational inspections.

2. SOP & Operational Standards

• Develop, establish and implement SOPs for daily outlet operations.

• Review and improve existing operational procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.

• Ensure consistent food quality, service standards, cleanliness and customer experience across all outlets.

• Ensure all outlets comply with company policies, food safety requirements and operational guidelines.

3. Manpower & Team Management

• Oversee manpower planning, staff scheduling and workforce allocation.

• Monitor team performance, attendance, discipline and productivity.

• Identify training needs and ensure proper staff training and development.

• Handle operational staff issues and ensure effective communication between management and outlet teams.

4. Cost & Performance Control

• Monitor operational costs, food wastage, inventory and stock management.

• Work closely with relevant departments to control manpower costs and operational expenses.

• Monitor outlet sales and performance against business targets.

• Identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

5. Halal & Food Safety Compliance

• Assist in managing and coordinating Halal-related matters and documentation.

• Work closely with the Halal Executive to ensure outlets comply with Halal requirements and procedures.

• Ensure proper food handling, hygiene, cleanliness and food safety practices.

• Assist in preparing outlets for Halal audits, inspections and other compliance requirements.

6. Management & Business Support

• Provide regular operational updates and reports to the Directors.

• Execute management instructions and ensure proper follow-up with relevant teams.

• Work closely with other departments, including HR, Finance, Marketing and Production, to ensure smooth business operations.

• Support new outlet openings, operational setup and business expansion projects.

• Undertake other operational duties and projects as assigned by Management.

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in F&B operations, preferably in a multi-outlet environment.

• Previous experience in a managerial or senior operations position.

• Strong leadership and people management skills.

• Good knowledge of F&B operations, SOP development, food safety and cost control.

• Familiarity with Halal certification requirements and compliance will be an advantage.

• Strong problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills.

• Able to manage multiple outlets and handle operational challenges independently.

• Willing to travel between outlets when required.
