Job Responsibilities:

• Produce engineering design and calculation reports
• Prepare equipment pre-selection reports (for Static Equipment - Pressure vessels, column, reactors, storage tanks, air-coolers, TEMA exchangers, plate-exchangers, etc) as well as Technical Clarifications and Bid Evaluation Reports
• Equipment Cost estimation /Weight estimation
• Vendor Data Review/Approval / Review Manufacturer Data Report (MDR)
• Inspection assistance (which will include own Technical Analyses of test results)
• Perform basic design on tankage layout to ensure compliance with Industry codes and standards, spacing, and containment requirement, accessibility, safety and fire protection requirement are met.
• Develop Tank Data sheets, preliminary and detailed tank design, Steel plate MTO to support tendering, procurement and job implementation.
• Prepare AFC tank fabrication / Construction drawings considering Construction methodology and constructability consideration.
• Manage and plan tankage design deliverables to meet project construction requirement within the agreed timeframe.
• Review all engineering specifications, codes related to tank associated equipment and appurtenances, ensure proper material selection and interface with other disciplines.
• Review and approve technical evaluation on tank equipment and bulk materials prepared by subordinates.

Job Requirements:

• A Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of working experience in oil & gas industry in static mechanical equipment.
• Registered Professional Engineer chartered Engineer; professional license/certificate is an added advantage.
