Role Description The Workplace Safety and Health Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore. The coordinator is responsible for implementing and monitoring workplace safety and health policies, conducting regular inspections of worksites, and identifying potential hazards related to power engineering activities. Daily tasks include assisting with risk assessments, maintaining safety records, supporting incident reporting and investigations, and ensuring compliance with local workplace safety and health regulations. The role also involves conducting or coordinating safety training sessions, promoting a strong safety culture among team members, and collaborating with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure safe work practices. The coordinator will engage directly with staff and clients to address safety concerns and support continuous improvement in safety performance.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to engage effectively with colleagues, subcontractors, and clients on safety-related matters.
• Candidates should possess clear Communication skills to prepare safety reports, deliver briefings, and convey safety requirements across diverse teams.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with incident reports, first-aid documentation, and health-related safety guidelines.
• Candidates should possess Training experience to conduct toolbox talks, safety orientations, and ongoing workplace safety and health programs.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of workplace safety and health regulations in Singapore, such as relevant WSH standards and codes of practice.
• Candidates should possess experience in conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations in construction, engineering, or industrial environments.
• Candidates should possess strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to detail in maintaining safety records and compliance documentation.
• Relevant certifications in Workplace Safety and Health (e.g., WSH Coordinator or equivalent) and/or a diploma or equivalent in engineering, safety, or related fields are preferred.
