Certificate, Diploma, or Advanced Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline. Extensive hands-on experience will be considered in lieu of a formal degree

Minimum 1–3 years of proven experience in component-level electronics repair

Senior roles are available for technicians with 5+ years of advanced BGA/IC rework experience

Proficient with hot air rework stations, fine-tip soldering irons, and diagnostic testing equipment

Strong analytical mindset and excellent eyesight/hand-eye coordination for handling micro-components

Ability to work independently

Perform component-level troubleshooting and repair on multi-layer PCBs

Diagnose root causes of circuit failures using oscilloscopes, multimeters, ESR meters, and logic analyzers

Read and interpret schematic diagrams, circuit layouts, and technical datasheets

Execute precision micro-soldering, including the removal and replacement of surface-mount technology (SMT), ball grid arrays (BGA), and through-hole (THT) components

Refurbish, test, and validate repaired boards to ensure they meet quality and performance standards

Document repair actions, failure trends, and component parts used
