Role Description The Senior Marketing Executive / Assistant Manager – Modern Trade is a full-time, on-site role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. This role is responsible for managing modern trade channels, including key accounts and retail partners, to drive sales growth and brand visibility. The position involves developing and executing market plans, coordinating promotions, monitoring store-level activities, and ensuring effective merchandising and product placement. The role also includes conducting regular market and competitor analysis, preparing sales and performance reports, and collaborating closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams. The Senior Marketing Executive / Assistant Manager will maintain strong relationships with trade partners, negotiate promotional activities, and support the implementation of brand strategies within the modern trade segment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Market Planning and Marketing skills to develop and implement effective modern trade strategies.
• Candidates should possess solid Market Research skills to analyze consumer trends, competitor activities, and channel performance.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and build relationships with key trade partners.
• Candidates should possess proven Sales and modern trade account management skills to achieve revenue and distribution targets.
• Relevant experience in FMCG, health, or nutrition products within modern trade channels is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in WP. Kuala Lumpur and travel to outlets as required.
• Strong analytical skills, proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and familiarity with sales or trade management tools.
• Barchelor degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience in modern trade management will also be considered.
